Aquarium with Grandma Chris

While we were visiting with Grandma Chris, she was super excited to take the girls to a local aquarium.  It is a pretty small place, but it ended up being a really great experience with small kids.  There were just a few people in the place, so they got to look at each animal closely, and it was so calm.  Since there were no crowds, we could let Adele run around and enjoy it too.  We even did the whole loop twice!  It was great.

An octopus!

They had lots of touch tanks, including some little rays.  They were super friendly and playful.

They also had an aviary and let the kids feed the birds nectar.  Emeline got a little scared when a bird decided to land on her head, but Adele was unfazed.  I decided to stay out for safety :)

But it was a great place to visit with little kids.  Thanks Grandma Chris!
