iPhone photo dump - February

Here's a glimpse into our February....

Baby in a box.  Always cute.  Especially when there is a cap involved.

Sister love!

Walking back from the park with our friend Isaiah.  They were negotiating who will play which Frozen character.

A priceless moment with daddy.

On a walk at Rancho, letting mommy go for a run.

Reading with our friend Alice after dinner at Russel and Alice's new house.

An awesome time at our friend Anna's birthday.  Adele was so excited to do gymnastics!

Fun with the birthday photo props.

I find Adele like this all too often.

Big sister helping with potty training.

Tutu.

Pixies!

I got a haircut, and I loved how she curled my hair.

Trying on sun hats at Costco.

Making shadows in the car lights.

I told her to put her shoes in the bench.  I guess they fit too perfectly here to resist.

All together to take their bows.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's day is not a huge celebration for us, but this year we started a small tradition.  I got the girls each a small jewelry box and a necklace.  I thought it would be fun to get them a small piece of jewelry each year, and maybe get them nicer things as they get older.  I wear a lot of jewelry from Noonday (a company that sells socially responsible jewelry), and my girls are always wanting to wear it.  I recently heard of a similar company called 31 Bits, and they make some kids necklaces that are similar to some of the ones I have.  So I got one for each girl to go in each jewelry box.  We are embracing the girly-ness in our house :).

In the afternoon, we did something we've never done with the girls before.  We went bowling!  We were worried about how this might go with small kids, but it ended up being a lot of fun.  For a long time we've felt very restricted in the things we can go do and actually enjoy, having three small children in tow, but this was a family fun outing success!  Definitely something we will do again.

Bowling shoes for everyone, even Adele!

Fun lighting!

Everyone loved the kids ramp.

Bowling was followed up with dinner out at Hobees.  Kate insisted on a photo.

And no Valentines day is complete without some silly Valentines Day e-cards,

And last but not least, Wes surprised me with a super fun homemade essential oil kit.  I've been wanting to try some of these, and he did a bunch of research, made some oil blends, and even hand crafted and engraved the storage box.

A fun day for all!
