July Grandparents Visit

Grandpa David and Grandma Susan came to visit last week. Emeline had lots of fun playing with them, especially Grandpa David! He taught her how to use her "head voice", aka: how to squeal. She's also turned into quite the talker. Here's a video of her talking to Grandpa.

While they were here, Emeline also got to meet Great Uncle Gonzo for the first time.

We also had dinner at Great Auntie Diane's, where I thought for sure she would be very fussy after no sleep, but instead she stayed awake smiling at everyone until the conked out on Diane.

It was a great visit!

Four months

Time is flying! Emeline is 4 months old today. Her doctors appointment is not until next week, so no height weight stats yet, but I will update later. Otherwise she's smiling and talking a lot, and she's practicing her new grabbing and pull to the mouth skills. She looks like she's about to make a flip from back to tummy, but I'm not sure what she'll do once she gets there, since she hates tummy time and really needs to work on her arm strength. But maybe if she figures out the roll, she'll be motivated to beef up those arm muscles.

The best smiles are after a good sleep!

Wes and I get the best smiles out of Emeline after she's had a long nap or first thing in the morning. It's the sweetest ever...even when we're tired.

Here's some of here latest.

4th of July Weekend

Over here at Team Zuber, we had a great 4th of July weekend. Our good friends Bridget and Jeph came to visit on their way up to Seattle! It was wonderful to see them, and Emeline just loved talking to them. We heard so many new sounds out of her.

Emeline also had her first trip to In-n-out, and so did Jeph! Neither had experienced the fresh burgery goodness yet, though Emeline's enjoyment was a bit delayed.

And...last but not least, we made our first trip to the beach with Emeline. We packed our car full of all the baby gear we could possibly think we might need, and spent a few hours up at Bean Hollow. It was a beautiful day. Here are some pics!
