Kate is such a sweet girl these days. She loves to be involved with what's going on. She wants to be in on all the action. She gets so excited when Papa comes home from work. She has so much joy. She is also quite feisty when she wants something. She is a great eater, but if you've got food in view and you haven't given her any, watch out! You will get a piece of her mind. In the middle of the night, if she wants Mama, nothing else will suffice.
She is learning a lot these days. This month she has learned to clap and to wave good bye. She will even say 'da ta' when she waves. I'm not sure if this counts as a first word or not, but it's close. I think Emeline made a similar sound for good bye.
Kate is all over the place, crawling and cruising pretty fast. She has started to stand up by herself without support. She just gets in a squatting position in the middle of the room, and up she goes. I'm sure once she feels steady we will see a step or two. She has also gotten the hang of climbing stairs and over stuff. We got her a new car seat and she just climbed up it and started standing and bouncing. Looks like a climber in the works!
