There were a few extra spots open on a group trip to Yosemite for Mother's Day weekend with some friends from Emeline's school. Since we never plan camping trips early enough to get any good spots, we decided to jump on board and take advantage of someone else's awesome planning. So we spent the weekend at Yosemite's Housekeeping camp.
It was beautiful there, full of freezing mornings, cranky sleep deprived parents and children, amazing scenery, big rocks to climb and also protect young ones from peril, and a great time getting to know our school community. Here are some photos...

On Mother's Day morning, all the mommas took a walk to the lodge for coffee while the dads and kids made brunch.
Before we drove home we stopped by Glacier point to check out the view. It was amazing.
