Oregon bound

We went to Oregon for the holidays this year.  It was the first time we drove up for Christmas in a couple years.  We had fun taking the girls on our usual stops for the drive.

We got to see Wes' dad, Grandpa Dan, in Yuba City.  Now we have a little tradition of meeting him for lunch at the IHOP.  Right next to the restaurant there is an old historic house where some wild chickens have made themselves a home.  Totally random, but a great place for the kids to run around and have some fun.

Feeding the chickens with a new friend...

Chickens!

Pictures with Grandpa.

Emeline took this one, and asked Grandpa to show off his gift of our family photos.

We also stopped for dinner in Eugene and gave the girls a chance to get some wiggles out at the University of Oregon.  We brought their scooters and they had great fun scootering around my old college....in the rain no less!

Church Christmas Service

Our church had a festive Christmas service that we were able to go to before we headed up north for Christmas.  I didn't take too many photos, but I did get a few good ones.

The cupcakes I made out of the leftovers from Adele's cake.  Turned out well I thought.  :)

They had a photo booth which Emeline enjoyed a lot.  Here are some of our silly photos.

Iphone photo dump

Here are some moments from December!

A rainy playdate.

Kate had a hard time wanting to sit on the potty to poop.  So we motivated her by letting her sit on the couch.  ;)  It worked.  :)

A tired princess.

Kate's version of a ballet costume.

Our beautiful messy life.  Topless Adele, pantless Kate, a messy house.

Making salt dough Christmas ornaments.

Morning cuddles with Papa.  Wes isn't gonna like this picture, but I don't want to forget it.

Ready for rainy day backyard time.

My little mischief maker.

A successful quiet time nap!

Getting ready to go see Bethlehem with our friends, the Woons.  It was the final re-debut of the green fleece/red stripped bear hat that I originally bought for Emeline so many years ago.  I spent ages scouring the internet for a gender neutral coat hat combo that matched.  I finally found it and this will be our last little one to wear it.

The kiddos waiting in line for Bethlehem.

Lunch at school!  A treat!

Adele on the playground.

Practicing for Adele's birthday cake.

A quiet moment with everyone playing together.

New hair do!

More mischief.

My terrible attempt at a selfie in the mirror with Kate.

The big girls all dressed and ready for Adele's birthday.

Trying on one of Adele's birthday gifts.  It fits!
