Even though Kate is working on taking a couple steps, her fastest method of getting around is "crawling" which is really more of a one legged scoot.  Now that she's starting to show signs of learning to walk, I wanted to document her cute little scoot before it disappears.

Sparkly toes!

Emeline got a special treat while Auntie Jenn was here.  Her first painted toes, lavender with pink sparkles no less!

Step one!

Katie Sue took a step today!  She's been getting really solid on her feet, standing and balancing for a long time, but so far has kept up with crawling when she wanted to move.  But today she put one foot forward!  The first step was in our neighbor's pool.  Very cute.  Finally, later in the day when Wes was trying to get her to take steps, she did get the second leg going to for a full step.  But all I caught on video was her one foot forward.  It might not look like much of a step, but since she's been standing still for so long, it's so cool to see her going for it.  Enjoy!

Happy Hollow Rides

On our last couple trips to Happy Hollow, Kate was big enough to go on some of the rides.  She had a great time.  Here's her first time on the cars!

Santa Cruz with J & D

While Auntie Jenn and Uncle Derek were here we did lots of fun things, Happy Hollow, paint nails, go to the park, go to the beach, and they even made us an awesome dinner one night.  But alas, due to morning sickness and exhaustion, the only time I got out the camera was for our trip to Santa Cruz.  And I mostly took pictures of the girls!  Anyway, here are some of the good photos of our day at the boardwalk with Jenn & Derek.

But had a fit when we put Kate in the cab with her.

So the solution was...let Emeline drive and Papa and Kate ride on the back.
