Dia de los Muertos is a holiday celebrated in Latin America to remember our ancestors who have passed on. At Emeline's school this year, there was a Dia de los Muertos celebration, and her dance class, baile folklórico, performed at the celebration.
Here's Emeline showing off her artwork that was on display in the multipurpose room.

Then it was time to get her face painted for the show.
Here's her finished esqueleto face and costume.

And all the dancers together, waiting to go on.

And here they dance!
Kate was sad she didn't get to get her face painted at Emeline's school celebration, but she got to have her own fun dressing up as a skeleton at preschool the next day, and face painting too! Here's our happy skeleton!
