Merrymaking
Our church had a Christmas event called Merrymaking. Music, crafts, snacks, and Christmas fun. Mama stayed home to rest, but Papa and Grandma took the girls and they had lots of fun!

Apple Christmas Party
Well, baby #3 has also turned out to be record setting, as we are now at 39 weeks. We didn't think we'd be this far into December without a newborn, so we've gotten to go to a few holiday events we had assumed we would miss, one of those being Wes' first Apple Christmas party.
It was decorated to the nines as a black and white themed gala of some sort. Live opera music greeted us and there were appetizers and small plates to partake in. After a while they switched up the music and then some circ du soleil style acrobats came down from the ceiling in one corner of the room. Then the wall the acrobats were against opened up to a dance floor area with a drummer/techno DJ providing entertainment for the rest of the night. It was quite the change from the opera that greeted us, but what an event.
With the long line for the photographer and the cocktail party atmosphere, it ended up being a lot of time standing and we were both thoroughly exhausted at the end, but it was really fun to meet Wes' coworkers and see the kind of cool shindigs Apple puts on and have one last hurrah before baby arrives. Here were some of the fun photos we got taken to remember the evening.

A cold afternoon at the park
Grandma Chris is here to help us out before, and hopefully after, the baby comes. We went to the park this afternoon to let the girls run off some steam. It's getting cold out there!
Kate had lots of fun running around, climbing, and swinging. Emeline is loving riding her bike any chance she gets!
