Kate at one is such a sweet and happy girl. She is very friendly and generous with her smiles. She seems to be very social and enjoys meeting new people. Sometimes she's a bit wary of men she doesn't know, but for the most party she's happy to be held by lots of people. She laughs a lot and babbles a lot, trying to be a part of the conversation. She waves goodbye, claps, and has learned to sign for "more". She's just started shaking her head too, which is quite hilarious.
She's very affectionate and loves to hug and bump heads. She will sweetly pat you while hugging. We love our cuddly girl.
This last month Kate took her first steps. She still prefers to crawl or cruise around, but especially when lured by goldfish or other snacks she may take a few steps.
