ACW & Pumpkin Patch

This year our church held another All Church Weekend at a retreat center in the Santa Cruz mountains.  Last time we went on this retreat, I was VERY pregnant with Adele, and Kate was not quite 1.5.  This year we decided to brave it and go, taking our whole family.  Sleep did not go as well as planned, despite our best efforts, but it was still a good time fellowshipping in our community and hearing some good talks.  The kids really love the experience.  Here are a handful of pictures of random moments throughout the weekend.

Kate and Adele heading up to the dining hall.  There was something about seeing all our kids in name tags (as well as us) that made me feel like we were all a part of something.  Like all part of the body of our church, even the tiny ones.

Campbell and Emeline before class.

Kate became best buds with Malorie and Georgia Mae.

Chillin' with Papa by the playground.

Adele deciding to sit up front for worship.

The best slide ever.

After the weekend away, we knew the little ones would fall asleep in the car on the way home, and then wake up upon arrival wanting something to do, just when we are ready to rest.  So instead, we decided to drive to the coast, so when they wake up from a short nap, we arrived at the pumpkin patch.  Not the most restful, but at least a fun place to be together.  So here are some pics from our quick pumpkin patch visit.
