Homeward bound

After almost two weeks up north, we finally had to say goodbye to family and friends and head home.  We had a few more adventures on the road...

Playing in the courtyard near Cafe Yumm in Eugene.  (One of our favorite lunch stops).

Bath time at the hotel in Ashland.

The next day we stopped at yet another familiar stop in Redding.  But for the first time we explored the Sundial Bridge.  It was a gorgeous day and we were so glad we brought the girls scooters along.  Perfect way to get out the wiggles.

For our dinner stop, we stopped at the Nut Tree.  I don't think I've stopped there since I was a kid.  There were all kinds of things for kids to do, a carousel, train ride, playground, and lots of places to eat and shop.  Another great place for the kids to burn of steam.

Adele LOVED riding the train.  She got super excited.

The carousel was fun too!

Kate didn't want to ride a moving animal, but soon regretted her choice, wishing she was on something more fun.

Emeline was all smiles of course.

And I think this was Adele's first carousel ride.

And then it was just a couple more hours to home sweet home!
