One week

Our sweet Adele was one week old on Christmas Eve.  Here is our sweetie in her Christmas dress.

Adele at one week is one sleepy girl.  It's hard to catch her with her eyes open, except maybe during her wakeful periods in the late evenings.  When she's awake she's seems quiet and contemplative.  She's been eating about every three hours during the day, sometimes longer, and has blessed us with a few longer stretches at night.  We've never experienced newborns sleeping for 4-5 hours at night, so we are trying to soak it in before it changes.  She smells divine and is getting cuter and cuter each day.
