Pumpkin Patch with the Sudres

We had such a good time at the coastal pumpkin patches last year, that we decided to try to go again this year.  We went a little early this because we had a groupon that was only good for weekends in September, but it paid off because we had so much less traffic and a really relaxing time.  We invited our friends and neighbors, the Sudres, piled into the van and off we went!

First stop was Lemos farm.  We passed this place last year, but it is such a popular attraction it backs up traffic for miles and was so busy we didn't visit.  But this year we had our groupons and it was much less crowded on a Sunday in September.  There are lots of activities for kids to do.

Photo ops...

Playground...

Rocking horses...

Hay rides...Evan couldn't get enough of Kate.  They were buddies the whole time.

Pony rides...I thought Emeline would be afraid, but she loved it!

A snooze for Kate...

Overall, a great time with friends!

Even though there was lots to do at Lemos, they don't have much in the way of an actual pumpkin patch, so we headed over to Farmer John's for our pumpkin picking.

On a giant pumpkin...

Love the colorful pumpkins!

Hay bales...

Fun with Papa...

Silly smiles...

Riding with the pumpkins...

And fall family photos.
It's hard to believe next year at this time there will be 5 of us in this picture.  27 weeks with baby #3!
